Not many people can condense a lifetime of experience into one ingenious product, but Pat Beaver is an exceptional person.

Pat started loading and driving dump trucks at the age of 15. As he continued working in and around trucks and chemicals over the years, he noticed a need for a better, faster, and safer way to sanitize trucks. Pat used his keen sense of observation, dedication to excellence, and knack for innovation to create the world's first and only commercial truck sprayer of its kind. 

Pat knew firsthand that drivers always had problems with asphalt and concrete sticking to their truck beds, which needed to be dealt with quickly to prevent it from sticking. The old method of removing this material was so dangerous that Pat witnessed numerous falls as a result, which left employees injured and their employers experiencing loss of productivity and a greater share of workers compensation claims.

Pat knew that a well-designed commercial truck sprayer would be a game changer for the industry because it could mitigate a huge source of risk for drivers and a major area of liability for employers. He began to create the blueprint for an invention that would allow a truck bed to be coated with the appropriate release agent from a safe location, rather than requiring drivers to climb up and around the sides of the truck while attempting to use a hand pump sprayer.

As soon as Pat was able to develop a working prototype of the CTS Defender, he began testing it out on his own trucks. Soon Pat had CTS Defender systems installed on his entire fleet, and in a decade of use his driver injury rate plummeted to zero.
